Update your Care Plan: Balance Rehab | Webinar

SKU 00002-2-1 Categories ,

Falls and losses of balance in the elderly, home dwelling population are a major cause of cost and concern for clients and clinicians that work in the home. Many clinicians find themselves providing the same types of intervention year after year, with NO TIME TO REVIEW BEST PRACTICE LITERATURE or to think of and develop home exercise programs and safety strategies to provide to their patients.
This 3.0 hour seminar focuses on evidence-based and current research being performed with the elderly population in the realm of balance rehabilitation at home. We have adapted this information to then be immediately applicable to the clinician working in the home, with tools and resources that can be used the next day.
Preventing falls and rehabilitating balance is an area that will continue to be crucial for health and well-being of those who are “aging-in-place”, and as the health system moves toward a more holistic approach to treating elders at home, this seminar is increasingly relevant, contemporary, and practical.
